Annie Ruth Deadrick, 82, of Morristown, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019 at her home. Annie was born on June 29, 1936 to Ludlow and Mary Jane Dyer in Morristown. She retired from American Enka and was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Being a very determined and independent person enabled her to live her life to the fullest.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Carmichael; daughter, Tammy Porter; and grandson, Colby Hall.

She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Johnson (Eugene); son, Scotty Carmichael (Kaye); granddaughters, Danyelle Williams, Dena Carmichael, Kelia Chandler (Harold), Ashli Jenkins (Gary), Cigi Carmichael and Kelley Cunningham (Gerald); grandsons, Marvin Hinch (Komma), Sidney Carmichael, Casey Kyle (Erica) and Robert Carmichael Jr. (Marlyn); 24 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends 1 – 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 19 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. Entombment services to follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens.
