Luchion Paul “Buddio” Crum, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the Community Living Center of the Mountain Home Veterans Adminstration, Mountain Home, Tennessee. Luchion was born February 1, 1924 in Greeneville, Tennessee to the late John and Vannie Crum. Luchion served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and retired from Union Station in Washington D.C. He loved his farm, family gatherings, and Praising the Lord. He also was an avid gardener, he liked to take long walks on the farm and he loved taking care of his German Shepherds. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Faye, Johnny, Samuel, Octavious and Fletcher. Sisters Angel Smith, Mary Blue Moore, Aleta Gudger and Geraldine Crum. He is survived by his wife Neverda Crum, Children: Emma Jeanette Miller, Doreatha (Gaylon) Jones, Michael (Tina) Goins, James (Tammy) Goins, Daniel and Robin Goins. Grandchildren: Greta (Brent) Hall, Cathleen (Yul) Elliott, Charnita (Wesley) Hammonds, James Goins, Jr., Elon Longshore, Stephen Goins, Dorian and Myles Longshore. Great-grandchildren: Kathrine Rhodes, Fantasia Hackler, Aislinn and Omar Hall, Jeanette, Neviah, Taesean and Jennifer Elliott, and Westin Hammonds. A host of nieces and nephews with a special mention to his nephew Terry and wife Jean Moore. Also his special friends: John McKinzy and John Bigmeat.The family would like to express appreciation to the Veterans Community Living Center for providing our grandfather with excellent care. Special thanks to Dr. Aninyei, Dr. Wilson and Dr. May, to the CLC, and the First Floor Nursing Staff. The family will receive friends 4 - 7 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2019 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 12 noon - 1 p.m. at Jones Memorial AME Church with Funeral services to follow at 1 p.m.
