Kenneth Simpson

Kenneth Simpson, 90, departed from this life Nov. 26, 2018. He was born on July 20, 1928. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years as a carrier in Cleveland, Ohio, and he also served in the Army. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. After moving to Morristown, he attended Thorn Hill Baptist Church, where he enjoyed fellowship and singing hymns. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ella Foster Simpson; and brothers, James Lee and Charles P. Simpson. He leaves to cherish his memory his nieces, Charlotte L. Charles (Eddie), Virginia Smith, and Gaynell Scott; nephew Charles H. (Bo) Simpson; devoted sister-in-law, Hazel Simpson; special neighborhood friends, Charles and Eddie; and a great number of great-neices and nephews and several cousins. The famly will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, at Dockery Senter Funeral Home, with funeral services to follow. Graveside services will fllow at Rock of Ages Cemetery.
