Charles E Allen, 67, of Newport, passed away suddenly Tuesday, September 22, 2020. He was born March 1, 1953. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was known for his many accomplishments in karate and for his Grand Master status. He will always be remembered for his great love of God and for his love of family.He was preceded in death by his mother, Essie Bristol.He is survived by his wife, Sarah Evans Allen; his daughter, Tasha Allen; his son, Justin Allen; stepsons, Dearco (Emma), and Kam’Ron; stepdaughters, Devinne, Tajuonna, Jessica and Acacia; grandchildren; Shaleese, DJ, Izaiah, Jayden, Milana, Brookelyn, Kalid and Kendra; great-grandson Keihari; stepgrandchildren, Ty, Eva, Deaja, Adrenia, Kamyrah, Aire’J, Maurice, Amir and Zaharha; sisters, Mary Ruth Rucker and Brenda Blevins; and brother, Aaron. The family will receive friends 2 – 3 p.m., Sunday, September 27 at Dockery-Senter Funeral Home with a celebration of life service to follow at 3 p.m.Arrangements by: Dockery-Senter Funeral Home
