Mr. Wayne Floyd Dailey, age 64, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Fort Sanders Medical Center.
Mr. Dailey was born on August 13, 1950 in Morristown. He attended many churches. At an early age, Wayne touched the lives of many families in the funeral business, as he was associated with the late Edward L. Dockery.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Linda Allen Dailey; parents: Henry E and Willie V. Dailey; one sister: Henrietta; and three brothers: James Edward, Terry and Gary Dailey.
He is survived by his daughter: Lisa Dailey; sons: Lamont, Byron (Vickie) Dailey; two granddaughters: India and Ameerah Dailey; two grandsons: Braxton and Malique Dailey; one great-grandson: Corbyn Pate; sisters: Mary Ann (Michael) Williams and Lynnis Richmond; brothers: Ron of Georgia, and Steve and Michael of Morristown; several nieces and nephews; special nephew: Terry A. Dailey, Jr.; aunt, Francis (Kenneth) Pate of New Market, TN; several relatives and many friends; two special friends, Dr. William Rooney and Adam Loofborrow.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2 pm at the Dockery Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Joseph T. Senter officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 pm to 2 pm at the chapel. Interment will follow at the Rock of Ages City Cemetery.
