Hubert Hunt

Hubert Hunt, age 84, passed away early morning on December 23, 2014 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was born October 28, 1930 in Rowland, NC but later moved to Morristown, where he lived for over 50 years. Mr. Hunt retired after working many years as a taxi driver in the Morristown area.
He is preceded in death by his parents R. and Anna Epps; brothers: Spanton Chavis and David Hunt; sisters: Cortnie Chavis and Pauline Chavis; and his wife Lena Hunt.
Hubert leaves to cherish his memories his brother: Pem Chavis of Rowland, NC; children: Amy (Clifford) Hunt Manning, Arnetha Wheeler, Hubert G. Hunt, Linda Bell, Sandra Hunt, Debra Hunt, and Shelia Donaldson; stepchildren: Paul David Gue, Debra Day, and Angie Hall; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 3 pm at the Dockery Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2 pm to 3 pm at the chapel. Interment will follow at Russellville Cemetery.
